Spurs have launched a £15.8m offer for Netherlands international winger Memphis Depay, according to the Metro.

The PSV Eindhoven flyer has already made his intention to leave the Philips Stadion clear and Spurs are keen to pounce for the 20-year-old.

Depay was part of the Netherlands squad which finished third at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, scoring twice in as many appearances for Louis van Gaal's side.

As a result, the Moordrecht-born wideman has been linked with a move to Manchester United, following in the footsteps of his former international boss.

Last season Depay made 32 league starts for PSV, scoring on 12 occasions as the Rood-witten finished fourth in the Eredivisie.
