Although we cannot name him, we must not forget Baby P was a normal, bouncy little boy with beautiful blond curls before his abuse started.

Haringey's dark days are just beginning

The world is falling apart. Melodramatic as it may sound, it must certainly feel like that in Haringey's dilapitated council offices. The borough's leadership has been hit from all sides recently but its potential loss of millions of pounds in Icelandic banks is just another inevitable kick while it is already flailing on the floor.

To me there is nothing as fascinating as a courtroom. For a reporter that's where the story brings itself to a dramatic and revealing finish; where the clogs of truth and justice turn in harmony; where the criminals meet their nemesis in the form of a cloaked judge in a pompous wig.

In a bizarre article in a Russian newspaper this week, former Spurs player Sergei Rebrov warned the club's newest recruit about life in Tottenham - and warned him off the area.

Northumberland Park - do not despair

So Northumberland Park was named by police last week as having one of the highest levels of ex-cons living there. Big surprise, you may say. But actually it is quite shocking. It came in the top 15th across London. That's compared with Southwark or Croydon, where the latest murder happened only this weekend.
