Crazy antics are happening all over the show as good people raise cash for good causes.
As the clock keeps ticking towards the Race for Life, I'm becoming increasingly aware of life's ordinary people doing extraordinary things to raise money for others.
I read this morning that we humans will walk about 100,000 miles, or four times around the earth, during our lives. Best we don't do it in uncomfortable shoes, I suppose.
I bought a new pair of running shoes the other day, and when I say a new pair I really mean my first ever pair of proper, purpose-built, gel-cushion, space-age, running shoes.
In a bid to fit in with English ways, I've spent long afternoons at the pub, eaten roast dinners with all the trimmings, and regularly parked up on the couch to watch soaps.
While I have spent a lot of time exploring London and further afield, I also bought myself a nice pair of slippers for the winter, and have found some good flatmates to amuse me when I don't feel like venturing out under the grey skies. With a tea-obsessed colleague, the hot beverages come thick and fast during work hours, and always taste better with a McVities morsel on the side.
