Oakwood athlete Andrew Jones rowed his way to a bronze medal at the Manchester Indoor Rowing Championship, the sixth and final race in the 2004/05 Concept 2 British Indoor Rowing Grand Prix.
Jones raced with more than 430 other athletes over 2,000m on the Concept 2 Indoor Rower during the event at the Manchester Velodrome earlier this month.
He finished in third place in the men's open heavyweight category, in a time of 6mins 20.6secs.
The six-race series kicked off in Newark and then moved on to Cambridge, Southampton, Cardiff and Glasgow, before culminating in Manchester.
More than 1,000 people raced in the six events, which were split into seven age categories for both lightweight and heavyweight men and women.
