LITTLE Megan Moore is miserable after her favourite purse was taken with her holiday money in it.

The three-year-old left her favourite purse in a bag in the toilet during a visit to McDonalds last week.

When the youngster, of Fairfields, Great Kingshill, realised she had left her purse, she and her mum Alison returned to the restaurant to find it was gone.

Alison said: "It was her spending money for her holiday. Poor little thing. She only had coppers in there and some heartless person stole it."

Despite several checks to see if somebody has handed it in Megan is still without her favourite purse.

"My friend got her the purse from EuroDisney and she is ever so proud of it," explained Alison.

Megan had been on a spending spree preparing for her flight to Spain and had only bought a packet of stickers to play with on the plane.

It was only when she went to buy a lolly from Woolworths that she discovered she had forgotten her red and yellow Winnie The Pooh purse which was inside an Early Learning Centre bag with her stickers.

Alison added: "Her nanny is replacing the money so Megan won't be without but it's the principle"
