YOUNG farmers dressed up as cows in a Dorchester demonstration to campaign for a fairer price for milk.
The Young Farmers' Club from Marshwood Vale was joined by Bridport farmers at Tesco to raise awareness of the great milk robbery' campaign, fighting for fair trade for farmers.
The campaign calls for urgent action to ensure farmers are given a fairer price for their milk, which is the lowest among the major producers in Europe.
It highlights the profits being made by supermarkets while farmers are being paid less per litre of milk than it costs to produce it.
The campaign was launched with a protest at the Royal Smithfield Christmas fair at the Bath and West showground..
