Club bosses have been praised by residents after a controversial rural nightspot opened its doors.
Hundreds of revellers flocked to Escape, in London Road, Copford, as it welcomed the public for the first time at the weekend.
One woman was fined by police for being drunk and disorderly as the club's curtain-up party drew to a close in the early hours of Saturday.
But villagers living close by said the management had done a good job of managing the crowds.
