THE owners of a dog that has been missing for nearly a month are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Graham and Joan Joel, of Churchinford, near Chard, were walking their dog, Biggles, in Otterhead when he went missing on Sunday, November 11, at around 11.30am.
Graham said he and his wife were very worried and upset about Biggles' disappearance, and would be grateful for any help.
"Someone has come forward and told us they saw Biggles getting into a hatchback-type car with a middle aged woman who was smoking at the time," said Graham.
Biggles (pictured) is an eight-year-old long-legged Parsons Jack Russell with a black patch over each eye, one on his side and one on his tail.
Graham fears that whoever has taken him has decided to keep him because he has a kind nature.
He said: "He really is a lovely dog. He's so distinctive we hope someone has seen him or noticed his sudden appearance."
"He has been micro-chipped, so that should help, but though we've reported it to all the relevant authorities we haven't heard anything at this time."
Anyone with information about Biggles should contact Graham on 01823-601492.
