SOME people love them, and others hate them.
While residents call for more CCTV cameras to help catch criminals and discourage anti-social behaviour, others complain vociferously that they are being used to trap people committing traffic offences.
A new CCTV van has been delivered to Waltham Forest in the week that concerns have been raised about the multiple forms of surveillance on UK citizens. It has been claimed that this has become one of the most spied-upon societies in the world.
Not only are cameras everywhere and growing in number, our medical records are going on national databases, DNA - even of innocent people - is being kept on record and our rubbish is being scoured.
