I heartily agree with Derek Brown (Guardian, November 30) that he encountered so-called political correctness gone mad.
How you can invade the privacy of a child playing football among 21 others in a public place? If these mothers feel so strongly, why do they let their kids play knowing that there will be people watching?
Where do you stop? Are we no longer allowed to take pictures on Walking Day?
I have been helping to set up a heritage centre and much of the material is photographic or, in more recent times, film and video. Much of today's heritage could be lost if the PC nuts have their way.
Perhaps Mr Brown should declare his intention of filming games and make copies available to other parents, and if anyone objects they should remove their child?
