Carla Flynn, currently group editor at Newsquest (Macclesfield), has been appointed digital development editor for Newsquest (Cheshire) and will begin her new role on November 20th.
Carla will be responsible for the strategic development of websites, and in particular, for ensuring the growth of Cheshire's online audience.
Carla will be working closely with the region's editors and editorial teams, and will also work with revenue generating managers, to develop commercial opportunities. Carla will be based in Warrington and will report to Eleanor Underhill, MD for Newsquest (Cheshire).
Carla will also be assisted by David Chana, who joins the team as web content editor, replacing Emma Stewart. Carla and David will work with Chris Cook and Rob Woods, who operate in a regional North West capacity, and will also work in close consultation with Nigel Vincent, head of online editorial development for Newsquest.
