Suspected arson attack at Wood Green home

A Wood Green home has been extensively damaged following a suspicious fire on Sunday night.

Police and firefighters were called to the terraced house in Boundary Road at around 7pm.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the incident and there were no reported injuries.

The blaze caused extensive smoke damage to the top floor, hall and stairs.

The fire is being treated as a suspected arson attack.

Detective Constable Jeff Neighbour of Haringey CID said: "We are thankful nobody was injured and that the fire didn't spread to neighbouring properties. We are extremely keen for anyone with information to come forward."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Neighbour on 020 8345 0712 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
