1:10pm Tuesday 23rd October 2012 in News By Bruce Thain
A clothes shop was robbed after suspects forced a shop assistant into a changing cubicle and demanded money.
Two men entered Ross and Co, in Muswell Hill Broadway at just after 12:30pm on Monday October 8.
They forced the shop’s female assistant into a changing cubicle and demanded money from her.
During this time a customer entered the shop and bought a scarf with cash from one of the suspects.
Both suspects then left with a green ladies holdall taken from the shop, a small amount of cash from the till and the shop-assistant's cigarettes.
Police say no weapon was used in the incident and the shop assistant was not harmed, but was shaken.
The two suspects are described as black men, aged about 23, and roughly six foot tall, with one wearing multicoloured jacket and the other wearing a green jacket with a hood.
Police are looking to talk to the female customer who bought the scarf from the suspect and are calling on anyone who may have seen the suspects to get in contact.
