Pupils get motivational assemble from Mayor
Pupils at an independent secondary school were visited by the Mayor of Haringey who gave a motivational assembly.
Mayor David Browne visited Wisdom School, Phillip Lane, on Monday October 22, for their end of term assembly to talk about ambition and their plans for the future.
The councillor talked to the pupils about the importance of having a goal in life and through focus and confidence their dreams would then become reality.
Science and geography teacher at the school, Damian Gray said: “It was a privilege to have the Mayor of Haringey visit Wisdom.”
He added councillor Browne would be meeting with members of the school council again to discuss the pupil’s role with local environmental matters after the school won a national competition earlier this year.
Wisdom is an independent secondary school which was formed in 2006 by the Axis Educational Trust.
