Small and medium sized businesses are being called to go green to save themselves money in the long run.
Haringey Borough Council is offering help to business in the borough to help cut down energy, waste and water costs.
The council will work with companies to improve their environmental performance which could save money with the small of changes such as switching an office’s halogen lighting to LED’s or using water saving devises in toilets.
Councillor Joe Goldberg cabinet member for finance and carbon reduction said: This is a great opportunity for businesses to save money and improve their green credentials.
“More and more businesses find that cutting energy consumption and reducing their carbon footprint helps them to stay competitive and win business as customers become more environmentally aware."
