Parents urged to sign up to free early years education

More parents are being urged to sign up to free early years education for three and four-year-olds.

Haringey Borough council is calling on parents to sign up to get their 15 hours of free early education a week, to which all three and four-year-olds in the borough are entitled.

The council says recent information shows take up of the free education is low in Haringey, especially areas such as Tottenham and Wood Green.

Children’s hours can be used in a number of different locations including children’s centres, nurseries, and playgroups.

Those interested in claiming their free hours can do so by visiting the Haringey Council website.
