Elderly people and vulnerable adults in care had a Christmas Day visit from the Mayor of Haringey.
Councillor David Browne visited people at homes and centres around the borough to wish them a Happy Christmas.
He visited four care establishments including an elderly care home at Osborne Grove, Stroud Green and supported accommodation for people with learning difficulties in Campsbourne Road.
The mayor also visited the Community Alarm Service in Wood Green, which provides emergency response and monitoring for elderly and vulnerable people every day of the year.
Mayor Brown said: “A lot of people leave their own families and friends on Christmas Day to go to work and ensure that people who are unable to look after themselves can also have a special day.
“I was privileged that staff and residents made their places of work and their homes available to me so I could to pop in and wish them a Happy Christmas.
“It was truly delightful to see Christmas being enjoyed in these fantastic places and I thank everyone for making me so welcome.”
