Christmas tree recycling to start tomorrow

People will be able to recycle their Christmas trees  tomorrow as the festive period draws to an end.

A recycling point, run by the Gardens Residents Association, will be set up at Doncaster Gardens, just off Stanhope Gardens, in Harringay.

People will be able to take their trees to be recycled from 9am to 4pm.

The projects is run in partnership with Haringey Borough Council which is calling on people to recycle their trees to help the environment by reducing landfill.

Shredded trees and bark shavings will be used by the council in the borough’s parks and gardens.
