Deadline looms for reception class applications in Haringey

The deadline for parents to apply for school places in Haringey for the next academic year is approaching.
Parents and carers throughout the borough have until January 15 to apply for a reception class place for children born between September 1, 2008, and August 31, 2009, for the school year starting in September.
Applications must be made through the Haringey Borough Council even if parents want their child to go to school outside the borough.
People can apply online for a school place by visiting the Haringey Council website and applicants will receive emailed school place offers.
