Wood Green Library one of the most popular in England

A Tottenham library is one of the most popular in the country, a national survey has revealed.

Wood Green Library, in High Road, had 685,424 visits last year, according to the Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.

The library came 13th in the list for most visited in England for the year and was used most by visitors for downloading e-books, internet browsing, and language learning.

Councillor Richard Watson, cabinet member for communities said: "It's great to see that Wood Green library is so popular and that so many visitors are making use of the new services on offer.”

Here's something slightly to its credit, but we wonder what the reasons are for it not to have crept up even a little further up in the list.
