Young people to host soup kitchen this evening

Young people will be holding a soup kitchen this evening offering food to deprived families in the borough.

The project is being run by young people from the ages of 13 to 24 who want to make a difference to the community.

The project, organised by Education 2Day, aims to help low income families, the homeless and the most vulnerable in Haringey.

Education 2Day, which is a social enterprise group, runs projects for young people in and around Tottenham to give them skills to help them get a job.

The soup kitchen will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Triangle Centre, in St Ann’s Road, Tottenham.

Do these people have to prove they're on a low income to get their bowl of soup, and if so, how?
