Two arrested in morning drugs raid at Wood Green home

Drugs were seized from a house in Wood Green by police during a dawn raid.
Officers entered the house in Palmerston Road during yesterday morning and seized suspected class A and class B drugs and scales.
Police from Haringey's Safer Neighbourhood team also found cheques, cheque books and bank cards in various names at the address during the raid, which was part of the London-wide Operation Hawk.
A 24-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and handling stolen goods. The pair are both still in custody.
