Date for Mayor of London's police consultation meeting for Haringey changed
3:21pm Tuesday 29th January 2013 in News By Bruce Thain
Tottenham Police Station in High Road will have its opening hours cut under proposals
A consultation meeting giving people the chance to have their say about proposed police station closures has been rearranged.
The office of the Mayor of London will be holding consultation meetings in every London borough to get people’s views on policing policy.
Haringey’s meeting will now be taking place on Monday February 25 at Haringey Civic Centre in High Road, Wood Green from 8pm.
People will be able to have their say about the Mayor’s draft police and crime plan, which was published earlier this month.
Under the proposals Muswell Hill Police Station counter will close and stations in Tottenham and Hornsey will have their opening hours slashed from 24 hours to daytime opening.
The police station in High Road, Wood Green, will be Haringey’s only station open 24 hours a day.
