Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust recognised for memory services for dementia

Services helping Haringey people with dementia have achieved national accreditation.

The memory service, run by the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust, in St Ann's Hospital has been accredited by a national body providing quality care to patients.

The accreditation comes from the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme managed by the Royal College of Psychiatrist’s Centre for Quality.

Maria Kane, chief executive of the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust said: “This is fantastic news and wonderful recognition of the quality of our memory services in Haringey and Enfield.

“I am delighted that this has been recognised at a national level. This puts our memory service on the national stage.”

The service run in Enfield and Haringey provides short, medium and long-term rehabilitation care to adults with dementia.
