Cyclists in Haringey called to get on their bikes

Pedal-pushing north Londoners have been urged to saddle up and go the extra mile in a challenging cycle ride.

Organised in collaboration with British Cycling and Sky Ride, the ‘Ride Strong Plus’ will be returning in February taking place every Sunday this month.

The rides will start at the Grove Hill Car Park, in Alexander Palace Way, at Alexander Palace, and will take a 28-mile circuit across north London to Barnet, Hertfordshire and Enfield.

The events are free and open to anyone to take part and will be lead by British Cycling Ride Leaders.

Participants must be 16 and over and people must book a place in advance by clicking here.

Cyclists shouldn't be allowed on the road. They're a **** nuisance.
