9:21am Tuesday 5th February 2013 in News By Bruce Thain
Police closed down a suspected drugs factory and seized more than 15 cannabis plants during a morning raid.
Officers forced their way into the flat in Stellar House, High Road, Tottenham, on the morning of Friday February 1 and seized 16 small plants, believed to be cannabis, being cultivated.
They also found high intensity lighting, ventilation ducts and bags of a substance also believed to be cannabis.
Police also found the electricity meter had been tampered with to provide power to the operation.
A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of producing cannabis and abstracting electricity. He has been bailed and due to return to a police station on March 26.
