Police cleared the streets while firefighters tackle the blaze
Hundreds of people watched as firefighters tackled a blaze near Turnpike Lane Tube station tonight.
Emergency services were called at 7.36pm and police closed High Road in Wood Gree from the station to The Mall while the firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
People lined the pavements to watch firefighters tackle the blaze, which is believed to have broken out in a flat above Ladbrokes betting shop in High Road.
