Cars taken off the road as part of police operation in White Hart Lane and Seven Sisters Road

A hand-held fingerprint scanner helped police arrest a man wanted for driving offences during an operation earlier this week.

More than a dozen cars were seized and a man was arrested as part of Operation Cubo on Monday and Tuesday.

Police using an automatic number plate reader and a hand-held fingerprint scanner stopped vehicles travelling along roads in Tottenham.

In White Hart Lane police seized eight cars for driving with no insurance and seven in Seven Sisters Road for the same offence.
