Homeowners in Haringey offered free energy assessment

People can get their homes and businesses energy assessed for free as part of a new scheme to make buildings in the borough more energy efficient.

The scheme is being rolled out by Haringey Borough Council as part of the Government’s Green deal.

The council has £150,000 from the Department for Energy and Climate Change to help people in Haringey make their homes and places of work more energy efficient which will help lower energy bills.

People have until March 31 to sign up to the scheme as the allocation of assessments are limited.
