Health trust to hold public meetings on hospital plans
Public meetings will be held to gather residents' views on plans to sell hospital buildings.
The Whittington Health Trust Board will hold the events to get the views of the community about their plans for The Whittington Hospital, which serves the people of Haringey.
Whittington Health Trust Board has agreed a strategy which includes investing £10million in upgrading maternity wards at the hospital and improve facilities for dealing with premature or very ill new babies, but also involves capping the number of births it deals with.
The trust also plans to sell off NHS staff accommodation, including flats for nurses and social workers.
The first meeting will take place on Monday February 25 from 6.30pm to 8pm at the N19 restaurant at the hospital, in Magdala Avenue, and is open to anyone.
