A new 'Banksy' artwork appears on the side of Poundland in Turnpike Lane

A 'new' Banksy artwork in Turnpike Lane?
A new 'Banksy' artwork has appeared on the wall where a mural by the artist was taken down.
The stencilled graffiti of a rat holding a sign saying “why?” has appeared on the side of Poundland, in Whymark Avenue, in Turnpike lane.
There has been online speculation the new graffiti may be a response to the removal of the ‘Slave Labour’ artwork last week, which is due to be sold at auction on Saturday.
Rats have previously been a subject for the British street artist, which has led some to believe he has been back to Turnpike Lane.
The original image of a child making Union Jack bunting appeared overnight in May last year and was removed last week and put on an online auction site in the US.
There has been outrage from the community and Haringey Borough Council at the removal and the authority has called for the auction to be suspended.
