A boys’ badminton team will battle it out during the finals of a youth competition next month.
The Alexandra Park School boys’ team are ready to compete for gold at the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games in Crystal Palace National Sports Centre on March 26.
The top team will represent the borough after beating opposition during a qualifying round.
The boys from the school in Bidwell Gardens, Muswell Hill, will be up against students from schools in Bexley, Hounslow and Sutton.
A record 104,463 young people took part in the youth games last year, with even more players expected to get involved in this year’s games across 33 sports.
