Fourteen arrests in Haringey in day of police raids in Operation Big Wing

Police arresting a man in Haringey yesterday under operation Big Wing
Fourteen people were arrested in Haringey yesterday as part of a London-wide police operation.
Officers arrested a 29-year-old man at an address in Arcadian Gardens in Wood Green on suspicion of possession of CS gas and fraud.
A 21-year-old man was also arrested at the property on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs. Cash, bank cards and CS spray were seized.
The arrests were under Operation Big Wing, which targeted crimes including burglary and possession of Class A drugs and weapons.
Police raided an address in Philip Lane in Tottenham and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of drug dealing after finding a stash of suspected Class A drugs.
A 45-year-old man was arrested in Hornsey in relation to domestic violence, and a 25-year-old woman was arrested in Archway Road in Highgate on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
A total of 343 people were arrested yesterday throughout London.
