Former Spurs players proved time had not dulled their skills after they won a charity match to raise money for orphans.

The Tottenham Hotspur Legends scored two goals while the Mauritian All-Stars scored one goal as they played to fundraise for the Mauritian Orphanage Foundation.

Darren Anderton, Mark Falco, Garry Brooke and Justin Edinburgh were just some of the ex-professional players who took part in the charity football match.

Their opposing team was made up of amateur Mauritian footballers from teams across London.
Kick off was at 3.30pm on Sunday June 16, at the Haringey Borough Football Club in White Hart Lane.

The All-Stars took the lead at 27 minutes when Gareff Roque surged down the right and fired high inside the near post.

The Spurs keeper got his left hand to the ball but was unable to keep it out due to its power.

On 51 minutes, Falco played Edinburgh into the box, and the left-back was brought down. Brooke sent the goalkeeper the wrong way from the resulting penalty to equalise.

Spurs scored the winner in the 90th minute when Micky Southam got in behind the defence and slotted the ball low past the keeper.
