Haringey Borough Council joins the Big Energy Switch to force down energy prices
Haringey Borough Council has again joined a London-wide scheme to cut energy prices for residents by up to £200.
As part of The Big Energy Switch, local authorities intend to use collective buying power to force energy prices down.
More than 650 Haringey homes registered for the borough’s first switch in April of this year, with people saving an average of £114 and some dual-fuel customers saving more than £130.
Those interested in the scheme need to register by October 16.
As part of the switch they will be offered a new deal for their energy and can then choose whether or not to switch.
