Free festival to mark New River's milestone anniversary in Finsbury Park
A special festival celebration will herald the 400 year anniversary of the New River.
Festivities will take place in and around Finsbury Park on Sunday, September 22, as a community choir performs a specially commissioned piece of music to honour the nature feature.
The Hidden River Festival will include live music, DJs, and dancing as well as arts and crafts and history walks.
There will be a choice of food and drink on offer for visitors to enjoy at the event, which is supported by Manor House PACT and ELL, and charities including Water Aid.
The activities will be spread between Finsbury Park, the Catwalk Collective, the London Wildlife Trust North London headquarters and the Castle Climbing Centre on the West Reservoir.
It will be held from 12pm to 5pm.
