Kaval Kalychurn, of White Hart Lane, charged in connection with Westfield smash-and-grab
A 23-year-old from Tottenham has been remanded in custody and order to reappear at crown court following a smash-and-grab robbery at a shopping centre in Stratford.
Kaval Kalychurn, of White Hart Lane, was one of five men charged with conspiracy to rob in connection with the heist at the Westfield shopping centre.
The five appeared at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court on Friday, and were remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, September 20.
Police are appealing for witnesses to help with the investigation.
Detective Constable Kevin Parley, from the Flying Squad, said: "We know there was talk on social media networks following the incident from people who had seen what happened - we would ask those witnesses to please come forward and contact us."
