Rodney Adams stabbed to death on corner of Green Lanes and St Ann’s Road in Harringay
A man who was stabbed to death in Harringay last week has been formally identified by police.
Rodney Adams, of Tottenham, was pronounced dead at Royal London Hospital after he suffered serious stab wounds on Wednesday, September 11.
Police believe the attack occurred on the corner of Green Lanes and St Ann’s Road at around 7pm.
The 44-year-old was driven to North Middlesex Hospital in a private car before being transferred to the Royal London, where he later died.
A post-mortem examination at Haringey Mortuary gave the cause of death as a stab wound. His the next of kin have been informed.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder last Thursday but has been bailed until late September while police make further enquiries.
An incident room has opened under Detective Chief Inspector Tim Duffield of the Homicide & Major Crime Command and officers are appealing for information and witnesses.
DCI Duffield said: "We are appealing for anyone with information in connection with this murder, or who was in the area of Green Lanes to contact us. Your calls will be treated in confidence."
