Jamie Nicholson to appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court charged with murder of Rodney Adams
A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Harringay last week.
Jamie Nicholson, who lives in the borough, will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court today, charged with the murder of Rodney Adams.
The 44-year-old, from Tottenham, died after he was stabbed on the corner of Green Lanes and St Ann’s Road on Wednesday, September 11, at around 7pm.
Mr Adams was driven to North Middlesex Hospital in a private car before being transferred to the Royal London, where he later died.
A post-mortem examination at Haringey Mortuary gave the cause of death as a stab wound and the next of kin have been informed.
Mr Nicholson was arrested on Sunday, 15 September.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder last Thursday but has been bailed until late September while police make further enquiries.
