Students from St Thomas More School visit Manchester United's Old Trafford thanks to Cutler Trust
Students from a school in Wood Green got the chance to enjoy premier league football match for the executive box at Old Trafford.
Seven footballers from the St Thomas More School, in Glendale Avenue, got to visit the home of Manchester United thanks to the Cutler Trust, one of schools’ sponsors.
The pupils got to go on the trip because of their hard work in both their sporting and academic studies.
The boys enjoyed a silver service lunch in the executive box and watched the match between United and Crystal Palace game from their private balcony.
Ex-professional footballer Leigh Wood, who now works at the school, said: “This was a wonderful experience for the boys – they thoroughly enjoyed it.
“They were a credit to themselves and the school and received numerous positive comments from Manchester United staff with relation to their attitude, behaviour and uniform.
“Hopefully they will be motivated to keep on working hard and our thanks to all at The Cutler Trust for this wonderful opportunity.”
