Former printworks in Coppetts Road, Muswell Hill redeveloped into £2.2million housing scheme
An old printworks in Muswell Hill has undergone a complete transformation to create new homes as part of a £2.2million development.
There will be 12 new homes on the Coppetts Road site, in Coppetts Road, seven of which will be affordable homes.
Planning permission was granted in March last year, and housing and care provider, Sanctuary Group, was selected to work with contractor Taylor Wimpey to complete the project.
This development is part-funded by the Mayor of London and now that it is complete some residents have already moved in.
The new homes include seven affordable rent properties for larger families and five apartments available on a shared ownership basis.
Councillor Alan Strickland, Haringey Borough Council’s cabinet member for housing and regeneration, said: “Supporting a good supply of quality affordable housing is a top priority for the council.
“I am delighted to have visited this excellent development which is a great example of a high quality mixed tenure development.
“The provision here at Coppetts Road is undoubtedly good news for the area and for tenants who are busy settling in.”
