A man has been arrested after a 77-year-old woman was killed in a fatal collision in Tottenham.
Marjorie Norman, of Tottenham, was killed when her mobility scooter was in a collision with a Silver Ford Focus as she was crossing the High Road, at the junction with Cedar Road, on October 1, at 6.18pm.
The 77-year-old woman was treated at the scene by paramedics but died while on the way to hospital.
Yesterday, the driver of the car involved in the incident, a 42-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after attending a north London police station.
He has now been bailed until early March 2014 while police make further enquiries.
Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit based at Northolt Traffic Garage are investigating the incident.
