A huge tree has fallen onto a double-decker bus in Harringay as a storm causes travel chaos across the borough.
Hurricane-force winds caused by the St Jude storm, blew over the tree in Green Lanes this morning leading to the road being closed near Turnpike Lane Station.
There are not thought to be any injuries and tree surgeons are on scene to clear the tree.
There have also been reports of fallen trees in Muswell Hill, on the corner of Seven Sisters Road and St Anns, Tottenham, and in Hornsey Lane, Crouch End.
Piccadilly Line trains were suspended after a tree fell on the track in Acton, west London, and there have been reports of people being turned away from Wood Green Station.
There are large queues for buses and the Overground services have been suspended for the rest of the day.
