Two of the borough’s parks have been nationally recognised after being declared Local Nature Reserves.

Alexandra Park and Coldfall Woods received title which celebrates well-managed natural environments with wildlife or geological features of special interest.

Earlier this year, they both received Green Flag award which recognises some of the best parks in the country.
