A Spurs star handed out certificates to schoolchildren who successfully completed a programme to improve their literacy, numeracy and computing skills.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb was on hand to reward the latest group of graduates from the Haringey Playing for Success scheme at White Hart Lane today.
The programme, which includes students from more than 25 schools, is run by Haringey’s school standards and improvement team.
It uses out-of-hours learning to raise attainment in literacy, numeracy and ICT.
Pupils from the following Haringey schools were among the graduates awarded for their success this term:
- Lancasterian Primary
- Tiverton Primary
- The Willow Primary
- St Paul’s and All Hallows Primary
- St Paul’s Roman Catholic Primary
- Welbourne Primary
- Northumberland Park Community School
