Tottenham-born music star Adele has been made an MBE by Prince Charles.
The singer received the award after she was named in the Queen's Birthday Honours list this year for her services to the music industry.
In a statement issued after the ceremony, she said: "It was an honour to be recognised and a very proud moment to be awarded alongside such wonderful and inspirational people. Very posh indeed.”
