Members of a biker club raised more than £1500 for the Haringey Foodbank to help make sure families don’t go hungry this Christmas.

The Red Army Riding Club collected the money for the food bank and more than 25kg of non perishable food for the organisation based in Selby Road, Tottenham.

The club rode in formation on their motorbikes on Sunday December 22 to deliver the donated food.

Club Secretary Chopper added: “We have collected donations to the tune of £1,500 - including in-kind donations, online fundraising, and gift aid.

“According to the fantastic volunteers at the FoodBank that’s enough to ensure that every vulnerable family which needs to use the local FoodBank can have a meal on Christmas Day.

“We hope that their Christmas is that tiny bit brighter as a result.”
