Haringey people will have the chance to quiz the capital’s deputy mayor over London’s policing and crime plan.

Stephen Greenhalgh and senior Metropolitan Police officers will discuss London Mayor Boris Johnson’s plan to reduce crime at Haringey Civic Centre, in High Road, Wood Green, on March 27, 2014 from 6.30pm.

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) proposals, which were finalised in March, were designed to reduce key neighbourhood crimes by 250,000 across the capital, boost public confidence in police and save up to £500million.

The deputy mayor for policing and crime and senior Metropolitan Police officers will talk about local policing, to tell people how the policing plan has been put into action, and to answer questions.
