A new mother spoke of her delight after she gave birth to North Middlesex University Hospital's first baby of the New Year.
Sarah-Louise Hanna, of Creighton Road, brought her daughter Kacee into the world at 4.30am on January 1, 2014.
Kacee weighed 8lb 1oz when she was born and is now at home with her mother.
The 21-year-old sales assistant said: “The birth was very calm and pretty straightforward but I was just so happy to see her that I think I was a little in shock.
“She was two weeks late and I was really surprised when the hospital said I had given birth to the first baby in 2014.”
