Tottenham Hotspur has quashed rumours that the match against Crystal Palace could be called off because the Mark Duggan vigil.

Concerns were raised because more than 500 people are expected to attended the vigil, at 2pm tomorrow, at the same time as thousands of fans will be heading to White Hart Lane Stadium.

The club tweeted: "Contrary to reports there are no plans to call off tomorrow's game vs Palace with the Duggan vigil scheduled for 2pm in Tottenham.

"The Club is in contact with the Met Police and will provide further updates as and when they become available."
